RHINOs have gutted and rebuilt damaged homes, built new affordable housing, worked in community gardens and the ReStore, and fulfilled A Brush with Kindness and other community improvement projects.

ST. BERNARD PROJECT

RHINOs have gutted and rebuilt damaged houses, built new affordable housing, and helped repair homes for families affected by Hurricane Katrina and contractor fraud.

SOUL NOLA: SUSTAINING OUR URBAN LANDSCAPE

RHINOs help improve water management and drainage by upkeeping biospheres, removing invasive plants, and restoring wetlands.

REBUILDING TOGETHER

RHINOs help build new affordable houses and restore homes damaged by termites, disrepair, or other damage.

CARROLLTON CAMP

RHINOs have done volunteer work with local youth at this daytime summer camp in arts and crafts, games, reading, and physical activity centers.

CITY PARK

RHINOs have done service projects to upkeep gardens and landscaping around City Park.

MAGNOLIA COMMUNITY SERVICES

RHINOs have volunteered with adults with developmental disabilities during arts and crafts, dances, bowling, and other activities.

LOVE IN ACTION FOOD PANTRY

RHINOs help sort donations, clean the warehouse, and distribute food to those in need in New Orleans East.

SECOND HARVEST FOOD BANK

RHINOs have volunteered to help pack boxes of dry goods for distribution to hungry families.

CAPSTONE COMMUNITY GARDEN

— RHINOs help plant, maintain, and harvest vegetables and fruits that are given to neighbors in need of fresh food.

PRESS STREET GARDENS

RHINOs work in the garden to provide fresh food for NOCCA’s culinary arts program for local high school students.
